I first realized I had a passion for journalism when i was 10 years old. I went on to graduate from high school in Nairobi, Kenya. I joined Brookhouse International School for my Foundation Year in September 2009. I joined Keele University in September 2010 studying Business Management and Media, Communications AND Culture. It was here that I fully unleashed my potential of being a good writer, and gained knowledge on filming and editing. I graduated with a 2:1 in July 2013 and joined the University of Sheffield thereafter. I then completed my post-graduate studies in 2014 and began working as a scriptwriter at CCTV-Africa.
Being born and raised in Kenya, I believe that Africa is a continent on the rise, if it hasn't already. The only way to make it happen is to contribute to progress. 'Haba na haba hujaza kibaba' Translation: Every little effort counts.
